Chris Hagey, R.M.T
Chris has been a Registered Massage Therapist since graduating from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 1994. Chris went on to both practice and teach in Ontario, Florida, and finally, BC where he became the Director of Practical Education for the West Coast College of Massage Therapy from 2002 - 2007. He discovered a huge passion for human anatomy while he was a student in Ontario. During his education, he had access to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College anatomy lab and he was hooked! He was also fortunate enough to have ties to the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster. For 6 years Chris accompanied the naturopathic students to their anatomy dissections in Saskatoon or Seattle and has been a well-respected instructor. He has since gone on to found the first privately owned human anatomy laboratory in all of Canada. Even with his focus on the Lab, he still loves what he does in the Clinic. He has never abandoned massage practice as it is still as fascinating today as it was on the first day of school. His anatomy training has also honed his clinical assessment and treatment skills.
Chris spends Wednesdays and Fridays in the Clinic.
Chris is a member of the Massage Therapists’ Association of BC and duly registered with the College of Massage Therapists of BC.
